Technical Trainer, Corillian Corporation / CheckFree Corporation / Fiserv — Responsible for curriculum development and training delivery for professional services organization. Teach new PS developers and financial institution customers how to use Fiserv's Corillian platform to create and maintain online banking implementations. Work with subject matter experts to identify key developer skills, then create hands-on labs and sample code to teach those skills.

In addition to instructor-led classroom training, deliver engaging remote training via WebEx. Produce interactive e-learning courses using Articulate Presenter, TechSmith Camtasia and Adobe Captivate. Provide on-site and remote consulting services to Fiserv customers. May, 2005-present (CheckFree purchased Corillian in June, 2007; Fiserv purchased CheckFree in December, 2007)

UX Intern, CheckFree Corporation  — Worked with CheckFree's User-Centered Design Solutions group to design the user experience for the company's flagship online banking application. Assisted with ethnographic field research, interviewing users in their homes about financial goals and ideal online banking experience. Assisted with data analysis and development of user personas. Senior Support Engineer, Corillian Corporation — Supported and maintained client e-Banking implementations. Developed internal tools for diagnostics and knowledge management. Position required knowledge of ASP, ASP.NET, Visual Basic, C#, COM/DCOM, XML, SQL Server, and Windows system engineering. July, 2004-May, 2005

Consultant, Netropole, Inc. —  Worked on medical transcription app for largest non-profit health care provider in the U.S. Designed SQL Server database, developed ASP.NET Web service interface to SQL Server and legacy mainframe data. Senior Developer, FTPOnline — Was responsible for numerous in-house development projects. Spearheaded migration to ASP.NET. Served as mentor/technical resource to junior developers. Significant projects include:

Web Developer, DevX.com — Developed and maintained Web applications using Active Server Pages and JavaScript. Created databases and stored procedures in SQL Server 7.0 and accessed them via ADO. Developed custom search engine using dtSearch and SQL Server full-text search. Created Web-based discussion groups for Windows XP Beta portal. February, 1999-April, 2001

Consultant, Intel Corp. — Developed middleware components for Intel's ChoiceSeat project. Components were written in VB6 and employed XML and MSMQ to route orders for fulfillment. September, 1999

Consultant, Intel Corp. — Developed sample apps and production tools for Intel's Broadband Applications Group. Software was developed in VB6 and involved low-level integration with custom COM components written in C++. February-December, 1998

Consultant, Express Copy — Created Wizard-based e-commerce app in VB5 for local print shop. Primary project goals were ease of use and user-centered design to simplify online ordering process for non-technical users. November, 1997-January, 1998

Consultant, Intel Corp. — Worked on Intercast content provider tools. Maintained version 1.x tools in VB5 and designed user interface for version 2.0. January-October, 1997

Senior Consultant, UDP Consulting — Provided software development services to a variety of clients, including Shari's Restaurants, Intel, Nike, and First Interstate/Wells Fargo Bank. Worked primarily with VB3 and 4, SQL Server 6.5 and MS Office/VBA. May-November, 1996

Independent Consultant — Specialized in MS BASIC/DOS application development until 1992, when focus changed to VB/Windows. Notable clients include Fawcette Technical Publications, for which I developed a multi-user order entry application, and Intel Corp., for which I created a multimedia browser for its Indeo Video Interactive Development Kit. 1987-1996

As member of INETA Speaker Bureau, delivered technical presentations to .NET user groups throughout the U.S. approximately six times a year. Have presented advanced sessions at VSLive! and other technical conferences in the U.S. and abroad.
